Snippet from Book

"No need to translate, Wildcat. It's a Horst Wessel song, the Nazi anthem."

"You're kidding? What idiot would play it on German radio?"

"That's just so weird," Hartman said. "Try another frequency."

Crown turned the dial.

"...Rommel's Afrika Corps has resumed its advance eastwards after capturing the strategic port of Tobruk," spoke a voice with a strong British accent. "After the British forces surrender of Tobruk, General Claude Auchinleck has been replaced General Sir Harold Alexander. Prime Minister Winston Churchill, in his speech to the British Parliament, expressed his full confidence in General Alexander's abilities to slow the advance of the German forces and mount a successful counteroffensive..."

Both pilots looked at each other.

"Okay, reality check," Hartman said. "What the hell is going on?"

Crown looked at her hands, took off her left glove, and pinched herself on the cheek. "Longbow, this shit is real—all of it. Did you see that black void before you passed out?"

"Yes. I won't forget it as long as I live."

"I think we somehow jumped back in time to the middle of World War II."

About This Great Book

B-3 Boomerang is the most advanced Stealth plane in the world flown by the best pilots of the United States Air Force. And on a routine delivery mission, the plane and its top secret cargo fail to reach their intended destination. A former Luftwaffe fighter ace may hold the key to the mystery, just as the American Intelligence and Counterintelligence agencies scramble to find the missing plane and protect its secrets from an old enemy who now wears a new face in the post-Cold War world.

Trapped more than seventy years in the past as a result of an encounter with the mysterious Comet Gabriel, Major Richard Hartman and his copilot, Captain Deana Crown, end up in the heart of Nazi Germany in the middle of the Second World War. With their plane damaged and one of them captured by the Nazis, the two pilots are forced to fight for survival. With the fate of the world as we know it hanging in the balance, the B-3 pilots must come up with a daring plan that will give them only one chance to preserve history and possibly find their way home.

From A Review

The plots of many novels have centered around time travel, but few have been crafted as cleverly as this one. What makes this tale so fascinating is the character interaction that takes place over a seventy-year time frame. Can you imagine encountering a friend from the present who turns out to be your enemy when you enter the past?

From The Author

I have always been a fan of science fiction that involved time travel. This novel was greatly influenced by the three terrific movies: The Final Countdown, The Terminator, and Philadelphia Experiment.

Time-travel fiction offers us many interesting answers to the famous question: What if? And in this novel I wanted to place past and present on a collision course with destiny. Faced with exciting and potentially dangerous implications of time travel, will humans have the daring to right the past wrongs or the courage to keep the timeline unchanged?
